Could it be this brash and obnoxious young man (without any talent) who suddenly appears, looking for an acting job? The company thinks so and takes him to their bosom, quickly accepting all the “suggestions” he makes on casting and rewriting Dickens “Christmas Carol”. All this mistaken identity comes to a head at the dress rehearsal of “Carol” when the real Inspector makes her appearance. You’ve never seen a production of “Christmas Carol” anywhere like this one. After the dreadful final dress is over, the cast is relieved: “Thank God it’s over and never again!” Or is it? Come see for yourselves. |
