Larry has been performing in the Milwaukee area since 1990, after graduating from UW-SP, where he majored in Theatre. He is one of the core members of Dale’s Off The Wall Theatre. He performs on stage, but also contributes his talents to much of the publicity seen around the theatre and town promoting the most current productions running at the small black box theatre. He runs his own business called LJL Graphics Designs Unlimited, producing most of the posters, postcards, programs and window displays for the productions presented at the theatre. Larry’s company has also produced work for other local theatre groups: On The Wall Productions, Whitefish Bay Players and R.S.V.P Productions. In 2007 Larry made the leap from acting on stage, to working and directing fellow peers, in his successful directorial debut of the thriller “Deathtrap” at Off The Wall Theatre. He is considering directing more shows in the future, but acting still remains his passion. As a character actor, Larry has had plenty of time to fine-tune his skills in the Milwaukee area, including Off The Wall Productions, The Milwaukee Players, Falls Patio Players, Shorewood Players, Lake Country Players, West Allis Players and On The Wall Productions. Some of his most memorable performances are:

Tamara is thrilled to be back in the Off the Wall fold. You have previously seen her cross this intimate stage as Sally Bowles in Cabaret, Medea, and Luisa in Nine (all favorites for her) - and even in a few shows with Dale’s cohort in crime – On the Wall. Tamara has had the privilege of performing at many venues, both professional and community, here in Milwaukee and in Washington DC. Other favorite roles to date include Evita, Florence – Chess, Reno – Anything Goes, Mama Rose – Gypsy, Annie – Heartbeats, Aldonza – La Mancha and Woman #-what-ever in many reviews, including Side By Side By Sondheim. Most recently, she had the joy of playing Cora Hoover Hooper for Windfall Theater’s Anyone Can Whistle. During the day Tamara is
the Director of the Wisconsin AIDS Fund of the Greater Milwaukee Foundation
& proud mom to the best teenager in the world!

David is the Technical Director for Off The Wall Theatre. Basically this means he does most of the behind-the-scenes stuff, from building sets to cleaning bathrooms. During most performances David can be found in the booth running lights and sound, and when there is no show running he is usually busy designing, building and painting the set for the next show, or doing any of the other jobs that always seem to be there. He has also been known to act, but only when Dale catches him off-guard. Dale even tricked him into not only designing and constructing the set and running lights but also directing Tantalus in March of 2005. David has been with Off the Wall since November 2000, where he started his theatrical career. David has been responsible for set design and construction and for running lighting and sound for Off The Wall’s productions of Superman (2005), Medea* (2005), Scenes of Love And Death In The Third Reich (2005), Tantalus (2005), Holiday Punch (2004), The Rocky Horror Show (2004) , Phantom (2004), Ten Little Indians* (2004), Wild Party (2004), Mikado (2003/2004), Caligula (2003), Sweet Charity* (2003), Bully (2003), Nine(2003), Broadway Times 2 (2003), Holiday Punch (2002), Child's Play* (2002), Cabaret (2002), Rossum's Universal Robots (2002), Marat/Sade* (2002), Cole Cuts (2002), Holiday Punch(2001), Sherlock Holmes & the Purple Prince (2001),A Midsummer Night's Dream (2001), The Roar of the Greasepaint... A partial resume of Miss White's many faceted career

Multi-media artist Adian Zix (of Nagasaki Gold) has partnered with Dale Gutzman several times in order to bring interesting twists to live theater in a small venue. Adian and Nagasaki Gold Productions have provided custom lighting, visual effects, video production/projection and a few textural enhancements to David Roper’s (set designer/builder for Off-The-Wall Productions) already innovative sets. “Larger theaters, of course, have had moving lights, video screens and other gizmos for a long time,” says Zix. “They can afford it. The trick for us is to bring that same level of production design to a smaller theater company with shallower pockets. And I think that by working together we hit that goal all of the time.” He says, smiling devilishly. “I don’t see any Broadway productions with their own custom-made, stop-motion Godzilla movies.” |
