Maura O'Connell Sings the Big Top

From her start as a singing clerk in her family's fish market in Clare to
the streets of Louisville, Maura O'Connell's voice has resonated clearly. Her musical selections are what is truest to her heart, and that has a newgrass twinge to it. Milwaukee fans first encountered her at the initial Milwaukee Irish Fest, where her as of yet untrained voice shook the Pabst stage when she sang with De Dannan.

Now, the northern part of the state, as well as the UP will get a chance to hear her sing. Maura will be at Bayfield's Big Top Chatauqua on July 22, and at the Hiawatha Music Festival on July 23-24 in Marquette. Chicago's bohola will also be at the Hiawatha. I
