Announcements from Fitzgerald's Chicago Hotel

American Airlines announces direct flights to Dublin, Ireland

Eoin Kennedy, Tourism Ireland; Tom Aichele, American Airlines; Former Appellate Court Justice Neil Hartigan; and Brian Fahy, general manager, the Fitzpatrick Chicago Hotel celebrate American Airlines' announcement of direct flights to Dublin from Chicago's O'Hare International Airport. The flights will begin in May of 2005. The recent announcement took place in the Fitzer's "Houlihan Snug."

Berumen Wins Fitzpatrick Hotel Employee Award

John Fitzpatrick, Brian Fahy, Sean Holmes and Randy Tancer present the 2004 "Employee of The Year Award" to Geronimo Berumen, Food & Beverage Server at the Fitzpatrick Chicago Hotel. Berumen was selected from a list of 12 "Employee of the Month" award winners and won a holiday for two to Ireland.

Fitzpatrick Hotel Adds New Staff

Originally from Dublin, our new General Manager, Brian Fahy is moving to Chicago after six years in Westport, Co. Mayo, where he was general manager at both The Atlantic Coast Hotel and The Wyatt Hotel.

We are also happy to introduce Elaine Hourigan, Assistant General Manager, from Rathkeale, County Limerick; Mark Redmond, Sales Manager, of Skerries, County, Dublin; and John McGough, Sous Chef, hailing from Westport, County, Mayo. Left to right were Redmond, Hourigan and McGough.
