Visit of United Nations General Secretary Kofi Annan to Irish Defense Forces
Kofi Annan, United Nations secretary general, visited McKee Barracks, Dublin, Ireland on Friday, Oct. 15, 2004, where he was met by Lt. Gen. Jim Sreenan, chief of staff. He then reviewed the troops of 92 Infantry Battalion, who are currently preparing to deploy to Liberia as part of United Nations Mission in Liberia (UNMIL).[More]
