MARCH 2003 / VOL. 3 ISSUE 7
Publisher's Comments

Milwaukee Archbishop Timothy Dolan is under The Irish American Post spotlight in this issue. His Irishness now has a year in Beer City under his cincture, after a climb up the hierarchical ladder that started in St. Louis. No, he doesn't talk to himself while strolling the lakefront . He's just practicing his sermons.

On other matters, Irish political leaders speak out on the looming war between the United States and Iraq, with questions about fly-overs, support for the troops and what it all means. And on matters political, new Belfast mayor Alex Maskey pays a house call.

We also have features in this issues about musicians, lots of musicians: Peter Mulvey, singer/bar-owner Finbar MacCarthy and Irish O'Leary. For the music lovers among our readers, we encourage you to check out our calendar that only scratches the surface of what to hear and where when it comes to the Irish.

 Oh, Happy St. Patrick's Day.

Martin Hintz, publisher.
