With half forward Aidren Hutson putting over 4 points to add to free taker Colm Eagan's 2 points. While taking a free, Carl Grant lobbed in a goal. Hogan was everywhere and took advantage of every ball he won to take a score. The Cu Chulain's defense was beaten and Hogan took advantage of the 4 frees given to him by referee Tommy Dolan. The Cu Chulain's continued to fight and Kiernan Quirke, Cu Chulain's half forward scored 1 goal and 1 point, but it was not enough. The Harry Boland's went on to win by a score of 4 goals and 13 points to the Cu Chulain's score of 4 goals and 11 points. All in all it was a brilliant game of hurling.
