MARCH/APRIL 2002 / VOL. 2 ISSUE 10
Publisher's Comments

Spring has finally arrived and the sweet perfume of new grasses and wild flowers scent the air. It's lambing season, a time of rebirth. We celebrate the anniversary of the Good Friday Agreement as the High Holy shamrocks of St. Pat's Day are put aside until next year. The festival session will be starting soon. Various dance troupes are back on the road...again...with all their thunder.

Now is the time to finalize details for this year's long-awaited trip to the Auld Sod. Whether it is your first visit, or you are a seasoned Irish traveler, the wonders of this Emerald Land are waiting for exploration. Subsequently, several stories in this combined March-April issue of The Irish American Post focus on travel, where you can learn what's new and what's fun. Be sure to use our advertisers for the latest tips and hints on where to go and what to see. Tell 'em The Post sent ye.

Pack your bags, but leave a little space at the top of your carrier. Save room for souvenirs...and memories.
