Greeting to Everyone! I hope you had an enjoyable holiday season.  If you missed the Celtic Christmas Concert with the local talents for Kim Robertson, Randy Gosa, Brett Lipshut, Stephanie Hoffman, McMenamin Irish Dancers and the Caledoian Scottish Dancers, you truly missed an awesome display of our talented young artists.  We had well over 225 guests for the concert.  There is talk of them returning for next Christmas.  We have a fantastic spring line up for the Hallamór Series.  Again we will have John McGivern on March 17, Karen Casey on May 22, and our fine and talented Irish Dance Schools will be performing on February 13 with the Irish Fest School of Music, another opportunity to showcase our extremely talented young ladies and gentleman!   All tickets go on sale January 5, 2010. We are busy getting ready for the Irish Center  Feis on January 17, 2010 at the Midwest Center.  Again we have partnered with WinterFeis (Cashel-Dennehy School of Irish Dance) for this two day event.   We are blessed and thankful for the donated time of all the volunteers to help run this event, BUT we are still in need of volunteers, so please call the center at 414-35-8800 to volunteer.  I have positions for standing, walking and sit-down event jobs.  Come and have some fun and help raise money for the Irish Center. Our annual meeting is on Wednesday January 27, 2010 at 6:30.  We will have a review of our 13th year and our vision for 2010.  Please come and see who our Volunteer of the Year is, and enjoy some food and drink and good company on us.
