Students should arrive a minimum of 1 hour before class to groom and saddle horse.
It has been our experience that involving the student in the preparation of the horse prior to a lesson, builds self-confidence. The time involved, however, does not encroach on lesson time. All students get a minumum of one hour of riding time and often more.
 

Students are expected to also be involved in the subsequent care of the horse after a lesson. This includes taking the tack off, and rinsing or grooming him – teaching the student the responsibility of taking overall care of their horse.
